Christine is a synthesist and multi-instrumentalist that has been exploring electronic instruments since she was seven years old. Born with sound->color synesthesia, Christine explores everything from noise, probabilistic rhythms, and modular expressions in her compositions and improvisations, to invoke abstract textures, colors, and moods. Not satisfied with just creating music, Christine spends time making DIY synthesizer modules, as well creating software instruments and effects with visual programming.
Drawing influence from a wide array of genres, Human Food creates what sole member Michael Denny describes as "absurdist soundtrack music for no film". From dark mountain top vistas of icy synthesizer tones, to empty airport terminals of ambient drones, Human Food crafts vivid soundscapes with a variety of tools and techniques.
