Sonic Circuits Festival Benefit with Chester Hawkins, Fast Not Safe, the unknown sound collective

Chester Hawkins
Active since 1985. Formerly of Pythagoras and Blue Sausage Infant, veteran of improvised psychedelic music in Washington DC. Now without a preposterous alias and focusing on more challenging perversions of cinematic composition. Using any mixture of modular synths, analog electronics, prepared stringed instruments, and musique concrète sources, the results can be equally euphoric and bitterly paranoid.

Fast Not Safe performs electroacoustic music with a message, agitprop for all ages. Dave Vosh and Keith Sinzinger have been collaborating for many years. Dave brings his deep knowledge of modular synth improvisation to complement Keith’s samples, loops and other manipulated extractions from contemporary conflict.
