Margaret Rorison is a writer and filmmaker from Baltimore, Maryland. She combines language, sound and imagery to create installations, films and live projections. Her work is often developed from extensive walks through rural and urban landscapes, combining moving images, field recordings and text. She is interested in the live dialogue between music and film and often projects her films accompanying sound artists. Rorison's work has been screened at venues throughout the USA and in Europe. She holds an MFA from The Maryland Institute College of Art and is co-founder and curator for a new film series, Sight Unseen that focuses on bringing experimental films and expanded cinema to venues throughout Baltimore. She also is a member of The Red Room Collective, which curates experimental and improvised concerts in Baltimore.
Michael Thomas Jackson
Michael Thomas Jackson has been creating and recording music since 1985. He has been involved in fully notated composition, free improvisation, avant rock, concrete and electronic music, performance art and everything in between. He has worked with tape, found objects, analogue synthesizers, prepared guitars, various percussion, all manner of sound processing, electronic feedback systems, turntables, voice and extended techniques on the clarinet. Michael has played as, in, or with many fine projects and people including Eugene Chadbourne, Rompecabeza, Spool Ensemble, Viktimized Karcass, Alien Planetscapes, Choptsicks, Cobra Clutch, Cephalic Index, The George Steeltoe Ensemble, Brian Osborne, Chris Phinney, Martin Klapper, Rafael Flores, Isolation, Flutter, Jerry's Finger, Truncheonette, Projexorcism, Skoweyajeed, Katsu Itakura, Carl Howard, Bruce Eisenbeil, Quien Es, Thomas Dimuzio, Dave Fox, David Prescott, Pat Lawrence, Ian Davis, Scotty Irving, New Loft, Zan Hoffman, Hal McGee and O.N.E. Michael is currently active performing, recording and releasing music through the Primecuts Recordings imprint, raising a daughter and being poor.

Sarah Hughes is an alto saxophonist and music educator in the Washington D.C. metro area. She graduated from the University of Maryland in 2008, having studied privately with world-renowned classical saxophonist, Dale Underwood. Sarah is currently a member of the Bohemian Caverns Jazz Orchestra as well as the Brad Linde Ensemble. She has performed with the BLE at such D.C. venues as Blues Alley, Twins Jazz, Atlas Performing Arts Center, Strathmore, and Bohemian Caverns as well as Chris' Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia and Smalls Jazz Club, Somethin’ Jazz Club, and the Iridium in New York City. She has shared the stage with legendary musicians Freddie Redd, Butch Warren, Grachan Moncur, Andrew Cyrille, Joe Chambers, and Teddy Charles, along with New York musicians Chris Byars, Ari Roland, and Joel Frahm. She has also played in a small group setting with Dan Tepfer, Allison Miller, Michael Formanek, Matt Wilson, and original Tristanoites Ted Brown and Lee Konitz.http://www.sarahmariehughes.com/
